Crystal Harris, the widow of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, said comedian and former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Jon Lovitz was a frequent presence at parties held at the Playboy Mansion. Harris made the comments on the "Lisa Guerrero Unleashed" podcast on Tuesday. She described Lovitz as a "lurker" during events at the Los Angeles estate.

"He would be up there all the time," Harris said. "And his eyes would go front to back, all the women that walked through the door. And at the parties, he'd be the lurker." Harris was married to Hefner from 2012 until he died at age 91 in September 2017.

Harris also discussed a disagreement with Lovitz, who was a friend of Hefner's. The exchange began after Harris posted an Instagram video stating she regretted marrying Hefner. Lovitz replied with a comment that questioned her regret over the home Hefner bought for her, the money she received after selling it, her mother's visits to the mansion, and her decision to leave and then return to marry him.

The comment drew criticism from other Instagram users. Harris said Lovitz was "completely attacked in my comments" because women argued that receiving gifts from a husband does not mean he can cause harm. Harris said she told Lovitz, "You were Playboy Mansion's number one customer. You were one of the biggest pervs there. Sit down!"

Lovitz responded to Harris' remarks after being seen at a Los Angeles restaurant. "Any time someone says I'm No. 1, it's a compliment," he said. He added, "Hugh Hefner was one of the nicest, most generous people I've ever met and all of his friends know it."

Harris' podcast appearance followed an Instagram message she sent to actress Jessica Biel earlier in October. Harris asked Biel to reconsider playing a fictionalized version of Hefner's wife in the film "Playmates" if the movie romanticizes him. "I was actually his wife, and I experienced sexual, emotional, financial and physical abuse in that relationship," Harris wrote. Hefner and his representatives denied allegations of sexual misconduct and abuse during his lifetime.
