The Milwaukee Brewers stand one win away from their first World Series championship.

Game 4 of the 2026 World Series begins at 8 p.m. ET Tuesday on FOX at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Brewers hold a 3-0 series lead over the Tampa Bay Rays. If Milwaukee wins tonight, it will be the first sweep of a World Series since 2012. The team has won eight straight postseason games, tying a mark set by the 2004 Red Sox, 2005 White Sox, 2014 Royals, and 2019 Nationals.

The odds have shifted dramatically following Monday's 10-1 rout. DraftKings lists the Brewers as -5000 favorites to win the series, while the Rays are +1500. Before Game 3, Milwaukee was -750 and Tampa Bay was +500. The total run line for Tuesday is set at 7, with heavy betting on the over. The Brewers are -139 to win the game. Betting markets show the Brewers taking 64% of tickets and 57% of the money.

Only one team in Major League Baseball history has come back from a 3-0 deficit in a best-of-seven series: the 2004 Boston Red Sox in the American League Championship Series. No team has ever reached Game 6 after falling behind 3-0 in the World Series. The Brewers are the 43rd franchise to lead a playoff series 3-0, and only 10 teams have forced a Game 5 in such situations.

Pitching matchups will be short on both sides. The Brewers will start Dustin May, who is 0-0 with a 5.63 ERA in eight innings of postseason action. The Rays will counter with Griffin Jax, who is 0-1 with a 6.00 ERA in two playoff appearances. Managers Pat Murphy and Kevin Cash are expected to use their bullpens heavily. Milwaukee rested key relievers Aaron Ashby, Abner Uribe, and Trevor Megill in Game 3. Ashby has allowed zero runs in 15.2 innings with 17 strikeouts during these playoffs.

William Contreras and Jackson Chourio lead the odds for World Series MVP. Chourio, 22, hit four times in Game 3 to become the youngest player with four hits in a World Series game since Joe Garagiola in 1946. He is now -110 to win the award, alongside Contreras. Yandy Diaz is 3-for-4 against May in his career. The Rays need a strong performance from Junior Caminero, who is +1500 to win the MVP. The model projects a close game, but the betting public leans heavily toward Milwaukee.

If the Rays win Tuesday, the series moves to Game 5 on Wednesday at Tropicana Field. A travel day would follow if the series continues. The Brewers currently hold a 10-1 record in the postseason. The Rays have a 2-10 record in the playoffs this year. The next pitch is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.
